The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Texas is grounded in the practice of providing direct, person-to-person assistance to those who are most in need.
We have 52 sites across Southwest Texas that assist with rent, utility assistance, food assistance, clothing, and more.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Texas' coverage spans 19 counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, McMullen, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, and Wilson. A list is provided below by county.
SAN ANTONIO RESIDENTS
If you reside in San Antonio, where you reside (your zip code), will determine the Conference that is closest to you. Programs vary per siite. You may be asked to provide income verification for eligibility purposes.
To find the closest SVdP Conference near you, please visit SACRD.org. Once you are on the site, enter your zip code in the ZIP CODE search engine. Then add SVDP in the “SEARCH FOR...” engine.
After those steps are completed, a list of your closest SVdP sites will be displayed. The first Conference is usually the one closest to you.
Contact them and let them know you need assistance.
